That this should be the subject of
one of the precious opportunities that the opposition has to cross-examine the
government! The member for Cottesloe has come in here and used this as an
opportunity for some sort of petty pointscoring on behalf of the Liberal
candidate for Churchlands. Quite frankly, I think it is beneath you, member. As
I said in the previous debate, I have a great deal of respect for the member's
historical and technical knowledge, but he has had better question times. This
question really does not do him any credit. We will continue to engage with the
City of Perth when we have the opportunity to do so.
