❓ Hon Ken Travers asks about the fate of survey responses collected by the now defunct Taxi Industry Board (TIB) regarding multipurpose taxi operations, and whether a report was finalised and will be tabled. The parliamentary secretary confirms the responses were analysed, a report exists, and the Department of Transport is now responsible for the issues raised.

TAXI
INDUSTRY BOARD — SURVEY RESPONSES
1445. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the
parliamentary secretary the Minister for Transport:
I ask this so that the parliamentary
secretary does not feel unloved!
Several members interjected.
Hon KEN TRAVERS : It is very appropriate today.
(1) Now that the
Taxi Industry Board is no longer operational, what will happen to the
approximately 700 survey responses that were submitted to the TIB following its
forum in August 2012 on multipurpose taxi operations in WA?
(2) Was a report
finalised?
(3) If yes to
(2), will the minister table a copy of the report?
(4) Who is now
responsible for following up on the issues raised by these surveys?
(5) If no to (2),
when will the report be finalised?
