(1)(a-b) No additional capital works funds have been allocated in 1999/00 and 2000/01 for the upgrade of the Derby Regional Hospital. However the normal recurrent budget allows for ongoing minor improvements. (2) No decision of the future Derby Regional Hospital redevelopment has been made at this stage. The Minister for Health has requested the Health Department of Western Australia to undertake an analysis of the scope of redevelopment required for the Derby Hospital during the year 2000/01 to assist the Government's decision in respect to committing the necessary funding in the future capital works program.
