I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question.
(1)–(3) Climate
change vulnerability studies take many forms and are undertaken at varying
scales. I table the attached paper that lists coastal vulnerability projects
completed since 2005. There are also four coastal hazard risk management and
adaptation plans currently being funded by the Western Australian Planning
Commission's coastal management plan assistance program for the Shires
of Gingin, Dandaragan, Augusta–Margaret River, Harvey, Esperance and
Irwin. The Department of Transport also funds vulnerability studies through its
coastal adaptation and protection grants.
(4)–(6) Lancelin
has not had a specific vulnerability assessment. However, the area is covered
by ''The coast of the Shires of Gingin and Dandaragan, Western
Australia: Geology, Geomorphology and Vulnerability, March 2012'', a
copy of which is available on the Planning WA website.
Although I understand that is not an
acceptable answer, I really only just saw the answer then. If the member needs
me to get a copy of the particular information on that the website, I will get
it for her.
