The Minister for Fisheries has no Boards of Management (or) of  Governance reporting to him under the fisheries related Acts administered by his portfolio.
However there are advisory committees that are established under the following legislation:
Pearling Act 1990, Part 6
Fish Resources Management Act (FRMA) 1994, Part 4
Fisheries Adjustment Schemes (FAS) Act 1987, Section 11
Committees established under Part 4, Divisions 1 to 3  of the FRMA are Statutory Committees with term limited members.
Committees established under Part 4, Divisions 4 & 5 of the FRMA, the FAS Act and the Pearling Act are usually term limited and are appointed for specific purposes.
Committees are reported on in the Annual Report of the Department of Fisheries.
