I refer to the Murujuga Rock Art Monitoring Program: Monitoring Studies
Report 2024 .
(1) When was Woodside Energy first briefed on the
draft report?
(2) Did Department of Water and Environmental
Regulation (DWER) officials meet with representatives from Woodside Energy and
discuss concerns about the safe pollution levels recommended in this report?
(3) Did DWER officials meet with representatives
from Woodside Energy and discuss the findings of the report related to
increased rock porosity?
(4) If yes to (2) and (3), when did these meetings
occur?

I thank the member
for some notice of the question.
(1)–(4) Woodside Energy was not briefed on
a draft report or at any stage during drafting. Once the report and peer review
was complete, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and Murujuga
Aboriginal Corporation met with Woodside Energy on 13 May 2025 and provided a
briefing on the findings of the Murujuga Rock Art
Monitoring Program: Interim Environmental Quality Criteria . Other
relevant industry representatives were also briefed around this time and at a
meeting of the Murujuga Rock Art Stakeholder Reference Group on 19 May 2025 for
awareness ahead of the report release.
