I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Yes. On a quick count, there
have been 14 to date.
(2) (a)–(c) I table the
attached information.
[See paper 2142.]
(d) A PowerPoint
presentation provided information about the vision, school design and
description of facilities, construction progress, academic and social
curriculum and experience that could be expected, and the local intake area.
(3) Parents were
notified of the information evenings through the school. For the event
organised by the member for Perth, information was also distributed through his
electorate office.
(4) No. However,
it is understood that the briefing organised by the member for Perth for
parents in the Perth electorate exceeded the venue capacity and some parents
could not be accommodated at that briefing. Department of Education briefing
sessions are ongoing.
