I refer to Computed
Tomography (CT) scanners owned and operated by the Department of Health and its
area health services in Western Australia, and I ask: (a) in what locations are
publicly owned and operated CT scanners operating; (b) of those identified
in (a), will the Minister please list the slice capability of each machine; (c) what is the
approximate cost for a new 64 and 128 slice CT scanner; and (d) given the 6 billion
dollar surplus in 2020-21 has the Government funded any new CT scanners in the
forward estimates?
