With regard to the Cullacabardee Aboriginal community, I ask:
(a) can the Minister provide a list of times and dates that the Department of Housing visited the community since March 2009;
(b) what were the reasons for the visits;
(c) can the Minister provide a list of times and dates when the Department of Housing had telephone communication with residents from the community; and
(d) what were the reasons for this communication?

5 March 2009 On-site meeting with contractor regarding demolition of houses
12 March 2009 Inspect progress of demolition work.
16 March 2009 Inspect progress and meet with demolition contractor.
24 March 2009 Meeting with Community resident regarding relocation
25 March 2009 Attend meeting at Community
7 April 2009 Inspect completed demolition work and clean up.
3 May 2009 Meeting with plumber onsite to disconnect water and sewage services.
18 May 2009 Meeting with electrical contractor to disconnect power to two houses.
19 May 2009 Cullacabardee Aboriginal Corporation (CAC) asked the Department to not proceed with the demolition of the five remaining houses in Archer Avenue. The Department then ceased plans to demolish the remaining houses and relocation of residents.
20 May 2009 Meeting with residents regarding relocation to determine accommodation needs.
28 May 2009 Attended Community meeting to discuss the Communities request to cease demolition work . Chairperson did not attend.

June 2009 Meeting with resident regarding relocation to Department of Housing accommodation.
9 June 2009 Telephone conversation with Ian Quartermaine regarding connection of services to houses in Archer Street.
15 June 2009 Inspected progress of Plumber and disconnection of services.
1 July 2009 Attended meeting with Community to discuss future relocation and demolition work. Chairperson failed to attend.
15 Sept 2009 Inspected RCD's in Community houses.
13 Nov 2009 Department of Housing Project Officer for Aboriginal Town Based Communities (ATBC) attended Cullacabardee in company with Department of Indigenous Affairs Land branch staff regarding ongoing conflict with tenants, rental collection, housing management, governance of CAC, residents transition to mainstream housing and demolition of Archer Avenue houses
21 Dec 2009 Project Officer for ATBC attempted to contact Mr Ian Quartermaine regarding 13 November visit and provide an update as to the status of issues raised - No response from mobile phone.
The Department has had many other telephone conversations with residents and the Chairperson of the CAC regarding a range of matters, including Department of Housing accommodation or assistance, housing management, street lighting and the coordination of meetings. Due to the general nature of calls, not all conversations have been recorded.
