I refer to the Minister's media release dated 10 April 2013 entitled
Major Reform for State's Energy Sector
, and I ask:
(a) with regard to the gas supply contract between the Gorgon joint venture and the existing Synergy:
(i) when does the contract come into effect;
(ii) how long will the contract last;
(iii) what are the total annual gas volumes; and
(iv) what is the contracted maximum gas volume;
(b) has there been any study or examination as to the relative price paid under these contracts;
(c) if yes to (b), when was this study performed, who performed it, what is its name, and how was the Minister advised of its outcome, and on what date was he advised;
(d) has there been any study done to compare these prices with any other prices for gas in the Western Australian gas market; and
(e) if yes to (d), when was this study performed, who performed it, what is its name, and how was the Minister advised of its outcome, and on what date was he advised?
