Can the Minister advise how many drivers considered to be driving impaired by the influence of drugs were issued with an infringement notice for the years 2012–2013, 2013–2014 and the 2014–2015 year to date: (a) for the same periods how many drivers considered to be driving impaired by drugs many were issued with a summons to appear in court; (b) for the same periods how many drivers found to be driving under the influence of drugs had their cars impounded; (c) for the same periods how many drivers found to be driving under the influence of drugs had their licences suspended; (d) for the same periods how many drivers found guilty of driving under the influence of drugs received a term of imprisonment; and (e) what is the cost of administering a preliminary road side drug test?

Under the
Road Traffic Act 1974
(the Act) infringements are not issued for offences involving driving whilst impaired by drugs.
(a) When detected by WA Police, these offences are dealt with by way of a summons to appear in court. The number of court briefs prepared for drug driving offences pursuant to the Act are as follows:
