I refer to the Department of Finance's Procurement Practice Guide and procedures for dealing with open tender exemptions, and I ask, since 1 October 2013: (a) how many open tender exemptions have been approved by a Corrective Services Accountable Authority; (b) on what date was each exemption approved; (c) what was the name of the individual, organisation or entity procured to provide a service following approval of each open tender exemption; (d) how many open tender exemptions have been approved by the Department of Finance; (e) on what date was each Department of Finance approved exemption approved; and (f) what was the name of the individual, organisation or entity procured to provide a service following each Department of Finance approved open tender exemption?

(d) The State Supply Commission's Open and Effective Competition policy only requires a public authority to obtain advice from the Department of Finance prior to proceeding with an exemption from open tender. Approval from the Department of Finance to proceed with an exemption is not required.
