I have a supplementary question. Has the Premier referred Senator Bishop’s correspondence and allegations to the police; yes or no? Dr G.I. GALLOP

I was asked this question in Albany, and I answered it. I was asked this question in the Parliament last week, and I answered it. The Leader of the Opposition has raised with me whether any allegations that have been made have been referred to the police. To the best of my knowledge, they have not. I repeat the point I made before: the Labor Party will conduct itself in these affairs as it ought to under its own rules. Mr C.J. Barnett: What - above the law? Dr G.I. GALLOP: What did the Leader of the Opposition say? Mr C.J. Barnett: Above the law? Dr G.I. GALLOP: That is interesting coming from the Liberal Party. If any matters of illegality are raised in the course of those inquiries that we conduct, of course they will be passed on to the appropriate authorities. Mr C.J. Barnett: Haven’t they been raised already? Dr G.I. GALLOP: No. Several members interjected. The SPEAKER: Order, members!
