(1) The funds allocated for the Water Allocation Policies output for 2002-2003 were not all expended due to a redirection of staff to support priority initiatives to address the current water shortages, such as the water forums and the Water Symposium, and the development and implementation the State Water Strategy. (2) The funds that were not expended will not be carried over into 2003-2004 financial year. The work not completed during 2002-2003 has been rescheduled accounting for new priorities and initiatives, including issues identified by the State Water Strategy and available resources.
