WATER CORPORATION — VOLUNTARY REDUNDANCIES
1412. Hon AMBER-JADE SANDERSON to the
minister representing the Minister for Water:
I refer the minister to the
invitations that have been made to Water Corporation staff to express an
interest in voluntary redundancy.
(1) How many
Water Corporation staff members have been invited to express an interest in
redundancy and in which divisions or business units?
(2) When did
Water Corp make the decision to invite employees to seek redundancy and when
was this approved by the minister?
(3) How many
staff does Water Corp plan to make redundant by the end of December 2014 and
when will the actual numbers be determined?

some notice of this question. On behalf of the Minister for Water —
(1) There are 60 from the service
delivery branch.
(2) In November 2014; and not
applicable.
(3) This is
unknown. It depends on the uptake of the offer, which is intended to be
finalised by 12 December 2014.
