As the member knows, this
government supports exploration. We know that exploration is the lifeblood of
the mining industry, and we will continue to roll out the exploration
incentive scheme. I recently announced a whole host of drilling campaigns that
the state government will continue to support. I think there are around 29 in
the exploration incentive scheme searching for a whole host of critical
minerals and gold all across our state. We are also rolling out the WA state
array to look at those areas of the state that we do not have a lot of
information for. Again, just in the last
week of Parliament, I announced that the first results of those went live for
the public anywhere in Australia to
access. We will continue to support that exploration. But, again, we call on
opposition members to ask their friends in Canberra to stop bagging WA
and the WA mining industry and to do the right thing.
