(ii) The Department of Justice advise the following sections of the Prisons Amendment Act 2003 are not yet proclaimed: - Section 5 (Declarations made by visitors) – proclamation is not a priority, as prisons at which declarations must be made are currently prescribed. - Section 6 (Security of biometric forms of identity) – proclamation is not a priority, as biometric records capabilities are not yet in place. - Section 8 (Provision by visitors, of biometric forms of identity) – Proclamation is not a priority, as biometric records capability is not yet in place.
