In relation to jarrah logging and forest regeneration, I ask -
(1) How many coups were logged between 2001 and 2006?
(2) In each forest region, how many of those coups have been fully completed to final regeneration burns?
(3) In each forest region, how many coups have not been completed to final regeneration burns?
(4) How many coups are scheduled to be logged in 2008?

(2) A total of 106 coupes had regeneration burns completed during this period, comprising: 16 in the Swan region; 31 in the South West region; and 59 in the Warren region. (3) A total of 77 coupes had not had regeneration burns during this period, comprising: 41 in the Swan region; 29 in the South West region; and 7 in the Warren region. This total includes eight coupes where the regeneration burn was superseded by wildfire events or deferred by mining. This total excludes 17 jarrah coupes that did not require a regeneration treatment following harvesting, as these coupes received a thinned or selective silvicultural outcome. (4) The composition of the 2008 harvest plan has not yet been finalised, but it is expected that the overall number of coupes on the plan will be similar to previous years, and include a proportion of coupes from 2007 that will "carry over" into 2008.
