(2)-(4) Typically 2 500 boardings per day are required before the installation of entry barriers at a train station are considered, however, this is not the only criteria used. Other factors used to determine the installation of entry barriers and tag off locations at a station include operational risk issues, the number of boardings during any specific period, the design of the station, the number of entry and exit points, and end of line stations.
