I refer the minister to the minister’s answer in the Legislative Assembly yesterday to question without notice 1070 in which she made reference to a report prepared earlier this year by Derek Carew-Hopkins concerning the funding and operation of the Water and Rivers Commission. Will the minister to table the report; and, if not, why not? Hon TOM STEPHENS

The report by Mr Carew-Hopkins was completed in March 2003 and has been available on the web at http://www.wa.gov.au/appeals or http://www.wrc.wa.gov.au/download/DEPWRCReview.pdf since that time. Hon Norman Moore: That is not a site I go to on a regular basis. I asked for a report to be tabled. If the report exists, why can it not be tabled? That was a rubbish answer. The minister knows that nobody would go to that web site because they would not know that it exists. The minister cannot even answer a simple question. Hon TOM STEPHENS: I look at it all the time.
