(1) I refer to stalking in the context of family and domestic violence (FDV), and I ask: (a) how does the Government assess the prevalence of stalking in FDV cases in Western Australia (WA); (b) has stalking been included in the FDV Reform Plan 2024-2029; and (c) are there any awareness materials produced to address stalking within FDV? (2) I refer to state provided, or government funded family and domestic violence services within Western Australia, and I ask: (a) what are the current government services that exist to support victims of stalking within Western Australia; (b) please list table service locations, funding allocations and reported client numbers for the last 2 financial years; (c) are there any community organisations receiving state support to provide stalking specific programs; and (d) has the Government considered creating a state-based service to assist stalking or stalking related offences?

(a) Stalking is a criminal offence in Western Australia. Crime statistics are available from the WA Police Force. Stalking is a data item in the Australian Bureau of Statistics Personal Safety Survey with national data publicly available.
(b) Yes.
(c) There are community education initiatives to raise awareness of family and domestic violence, which includes stalking, including (but not limited to):

(b) Funded family and domestic violence services are located around the State including supported accommodation, one stop hubs, safe at home services, community-based support (outreach and advocacy), and therapeutic responses. The data reported to the Department of Communities by these services does not specify the unique types of abuse and violence experienced by victim-survivors. This is captured at an individual client level in their case management records.
