Trade apprenticeships
1006. Hon Rod Caddies to
the Leader of the House representing the
Minister for Skills and TAFE:
I refer to trade apprenticeships in Western Australia.
(1) How many months of training are expected to be
completed to obtain an apprenticeship in the following trades:
(a) bricklaying;
(b) carpentry;
(c) roofing;
(d) electrical; and
(e) plumbing?
(2) How many apprenticeships in Western Australia
were completed in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 in the following trades:
(a) bricklaying;
(b) carpentry;
(c) roofing;
(d) electrical; and
(e) plumbing?
The President: Wow! That is seeking a significant
amount of data, honourable member. We will see whether the Leader of the House
is able to provide it, but, generally, seeking a lot of data might be
considered as not being concise.
