ROYAL PERTH HOSPITAL — TERTIARY STATUS
I ask a supplementary question. Does this not confirm the fears and criticisms of a lot of the clinical staff around Perth that the minister is creating an untenable and unsustainable situation of tertiary hospital beds across the metropolitan area? Dr K.D. HAMES

AnswerView source ↗

The problem we have is that there may be some concern in the health sector that we are creating an untenable situation. That concern has not been created by any understanding of the facts by any of those involved; it is totally related to the scaremongering put out by the opposition health spokesman. He needs to stop doing that because he is destructing the proper planning of health care in this state.
