Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(a) - (d) The Western Australian Government is not preparing welcome packs for official guests and delegates for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. That is the responsibility of the Commonwealth Government. However, Tourism WA has produced a
Passport to Perth
. The
Passport
will be provided to official delegates, delegates of the three parallel events, members of the media and visiting police officers. The purpose of the
Passport
is to provide people with information that will allow them to experience Perth and surrounding areas, such as a map, details regarding CHOGM and related events, entertainment options, health facilities, transport, places of worship and background information about the State.
Passports
will include a card allowing free travel on the Transperth network (with the exception of
Passports
for police officers, who do not require free public transport).
