The Report on Consultants Engaged by Government for the six months to 31 December 2023 confirms that the Department of Finance paid $440,000 to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for advice on the delivery of the ServiceWA Future State Business Case. Can the Minister advise: (a) What is the Service WA Future State Business Case; (b) What was the process used to engage Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu; (c) Has Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu provided a draft and/or final report to Government: (i) If so, can this be tabled; and (ii) If not, why not; (d) What were the outcomes from this consultancy; (e) What costs and timeframes were identified in the Business Case; (f) What were identified as the benefits to the State for such an initiative; (g) What were identified as the challenges to the State for such an initiative; (h) Has the consultancy led to changes in Government policy and or priorities with respect to this issue: (i) If so, why; and (ii) If not, why not; (i) What consultation process did Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu follow in undertaking this work; (j) Who was consulted and when; (k) Were updates provided to Government during the consultancy: (i) If so, when and to who; and (ii) If not, why not; and (l) Have the outcomes from this Business Case been shared by entities outside of the State Government: (i) If so, who, when and for what purpose?
