The Minister for Energy tabled a 2006 Statement of Corporate Intent for each of the electricity corporations in Parliament in accordance with the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 by the statutory deadline of 14 July 2006. A Media Statement was released on 5 July to announce the completion of the documents.
