In relation to the population explosion of the Muir Corella in the Boyup Brook region, which, at recent count, was 17,000 (an increase of 7,000 in five years), I ask:
(a) are there any plans to cull the expanding Corella population in this area;
(b) has the Minister been made aware that land owners in this area are requesting a cull; and
(c) will the Minister release the report on Agricultural Impact of Muirs Corellas, commissioned in 2008 by the Hon Kim Chance?

(a)  No. Muir's Corella is a protected native species which is currently listed as  "rare or likely to become extinct" pursuant to the
Wildlife Conservation Act  1950
and ranked as "endangered" by the WA Threatened Species  Scientific Committee.
It is also listed as vulnerable under Section 178 of the Commonwealth  Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
(b)  Yes.
(c) Yes. I will now table the report, commissioned by the former Minister for  Agriculture, titled 'Report on Agricultural Impact of Muir's Corella, 30 June 2008' which has had the personal details of the land holders involved removed.
