I refer to the video titled ‘Watch House Tour,’ published on Vimeo by WA Police on 15 April 2025, in which unopened, secured and sealed cardboard boxes containing server racks and enclosures are visibly stored in the sally port area at the 1 minute and 5 second mark and ask: (a) When were the boxes containing server racks and enclosures ordered and delivered; (b) What was the total cost of these server racks and enclosures, including shipping; (c) What is their intended purpose within WA Police; (d) Are they meant for installation at the Watch House or are they intended for another facility, and if so, which facility; (e) Why are they currently stored in the sally port, and is this considered a secure and appropriate storage location; (f) How long have they been stored there, and when will they be installed or deployed; (g) Were these server racks purchased under a tender process, and if so, which company was awarded the contract; (h) Have any maintenance, storage, or security costs been incurred while these items remain unused; (i) Are there any other WA Police sites currently storing similar equipment awaiting deployment, and if so, what equipment and the magnitude; and (j) What is the estimated value of IT or technical equipment currently in storage across WA Police facilities?
