I refer to the recent media reports of live baiting of greyhounds by trainers in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, and I ask: (a) how many government inspections of Western Australian trainers' property and facilities have been undertaken in each of: (i) 2013; (ii) 2014; and (iii) 2015 to date; (b) how many complaints about live baiting have been received by the Government, and what were the outcomes of the resultant investigations, in each of: (i) 2013; (ii) 2014; and (iii) 2015 to date; (c) how many government inspections of Western Australian trainers' property and facilities have taken place since Monday, 16 February 2015; (d) have any of the 24 people suspended in other States trained or raced greyhounds in Western Australia and, if so, what are their names and the names of the greyhounds trained or raced; and (e) will the Minister undertake to have a full investigation of the local industry to determine whether any live baiting practices are occurring in Western Australia and, if not, why not?

Four participants raced nine greyhounds 62 times out of approximately 28,000  starters:
- Majella Ferguson (NSW);
- Ian Morgan (NSW);
- John Thompson (NSW); and
- Darren McDonald (VIC).
Greyhound names: Another Lee, Awesome Surfer, Fat Quoted, Oh So Smooth, Revealed, Take It All, Tarks Law, Tree Bandit, Unexplained.
2014
:
Two participants raced 10 greyhounds 46 times out of approximately 28,000 starters. The participants involved included:
- Majella Ferguson (NSW); and
- Darren McDonald (VIC).
Greyhound names: All Guns Blazing, Awesome Project, Cyclone Simone, Keybrow, Striking Blaze, Sweet It Is, Tiggerlong Amigo, Tree Bandit, Where's the Surf and Zipping Joe.
2015 to date:
Nil.
(e):  Investigations of the West Australian Greyhound industry continue to be a priority for Racing and Wagering Western Australia, the industry's governing body. There have been no findings to date by RWWA of any misconduct or irregularities.
