STATE ECONOMY — GOVERNMENT POLICIES
274. Mr D.C. NALDER to the Treasurer:
I have a supplementary question. Given that the same report
highlights that ''Even the dog on the street knows that household
consumption growth is weak in WA'', is it not time for the government to
realise that it is asleep at the wheel and start to deliver policies that will
grow the economy?

The reason the economy went from a recession under the former
Liberal–National government to growing under the Labor government
highlights the fact that we understand that. The dog on the street could perhaps
come into the Liberal Party room and give you all an economic lesson.
