I refer to the existing mature trees on and around Kitchener Park in Subiaco: (a) has the Minister been approached by the City of Subiaco raising concerns over the possible removal of historical trees along the verge of Coghlan Street and on Kitchener Park to allow for the development of the new Inner City College; (b) has the Minister confirmed whether these trees are of historical significance; (c) is it true that 12 trees close to 100 years old along the western verge of Coghlan Street will be in danger due to close proximity to construction and foundation works; (d) what action is the Minister taking to preserve as many of these trees as possible; (e) has the Minister taken the time to view the footprint of the proposed new Inner City College to see how many trees will be removed or impacted by the development.; and (f) will the Minister meet with the Minister for Education and the Minister for Planning to discuss options to reduce the number of trees impacted by the Inner City College development?
