Benson-Lidholm, as his reward for taking questions last week!
Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM : Thank you again, Mr President. I ask —
(1) How many redeployed teaching staff have secured jobs in
independent public schools —
(a) in total across the state; and
(b) in each education region?
(2) How many redeployed deputy principals have secured jobs
in independent public schools —
(a) in total across the state; and
(b) in each education region?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) (a) Since the inception of the IPS initiative, 85.
(b) Goldfields,
seven; midwest, four; north metropolitan, 23; Pilbara, three; south
metropolitan, 30; south west, 16; and, wheatbelt, two.
(2) Two since 2010, both in the north metropolitan education
region.
