I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) No.  To the best of my knowledge no companies have been found to have breached guidelines in WA, although it is true that allegations have been made. (2) No.  GMO trials and commercial crops are licensed by the Interim Office of the Gene Technology Regulator.  As of 21 June 2001 and operation of the Gene Technology Act, all applications for GMO field trials or commercial release will be assessed and granted by the Gene Technology Regulator. (3) I refer the member to my recent GMO policy statement.  The moratorium remains as a default position.
