(3) Renewable Remote Power Generation Program (a Commonwealth program administered by the Office of Energy): funding is available for renewable energy systems serving pastoral stations, Aboriginal communities, tourist operations and other groups in remote off-grid areas of Western Australia that use diesel generators for a power supply. Funding has been approved for systems installed in areas around most of the towns listed, although so far no systems have been installed within the towns themselves.
