665. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the section of the South Coast Highway between
McIntosh Road and Springdale Heights in the Shire of Denmark.
(1) Is the
Minister for Transport aware of serious concerns about eastbound traffic
overtaking after the 110-kilometre-an-hour sign?
(2) If yes to (1), what action will the minister take to make
the road safer?
(3) If no to
(1), will the minister commission an inquiry into this stretch of road with a
view to addressing this serious safety issue?
