(2) On what basis was former Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Chair Mr David Caddy appointed as the Chair of Commissioners for the City of Nedlands, and what process was followed in making that appointment? (3) Is the City of Nedlands Local Planning Scheme scheduled for review in 2025, and if so: (a) What is the scope and timing of that review; and (b) Will the State Government or Minister for Planning play a role in directing or overseeing this review?

Matters which are referred to the Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) are confidential. No further information has been provided to me on this matter, other than what has already been reported in the media.

Mr David Caddy was appointed in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1995 .

In July 2025, the City of Nedlands Scheme Review Report was referred to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) for determination.
