PILBARA UNDERGROUND POWER PROJECT
912. Mr W.J. JOHNSTON to the Minister for
Energy:
I have a supplementary question. Is
the minister aware that, in one particular case, Horizon Power advised the city
to charge $15 222.29 and, following the ratepayer's request for review,
Horizon Power advised that the ratepayer should be charged $709.45?

I do not get involved in individual
bills from Horizon Power or the City of Karratha. Maybe the member for
Cannington does. If he does, I would say that he is wasting his time.
Obviously, there are a range of processes under which someone with a complaint
about a bill can complain about it. They can complain to the City of Karratha
or Horizon Power. If they do not get joy with that, they can write to me or
other people. We have processes in place, and I do not spend my day looking
through every bill that Horizon puts out. I will let the member do that.
