Minister for Environment:

refer to the community reference committee convened to assist with the
development of the Indicative M anagement Plan for the South Coast Marine
Park.
(1) Following the
final meeting of the CRC on 29 and 30 March 2023, did the chair of the CRC
provide a report to the minister or the Department of Biodiversity,
Conservation and Attractions?
(2) If yes, can the minister please
table that report?

some notice of the question. I provide the following answer on behalf of the
Minister for Environment.
(1)–(2) The
planning process for the proposed south coast marine park is ongoing. The DBCA
is developing a community newsletter to communicate the conclusion of the CRC
process. The minister will table the newsletter in due course. All Western Australians
will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the indicative management plan
and proposed zoning scheme during a 90-day public comment period later this
year.
