CHILD PROTECTION OFFICERS— LAVERTON POSITIONS
(1) Has the additional team leader and two responsible parenting officer positions for Laverton, announced in June, been filled; and, if not, why not? (2) If so, when were the positions filled and have the people appointed commenced work on the ground in Laverton; and, if not, why not? Hon ROBYN McSWEENEY

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. (1) There has not been a team leader position in Laverton for some years so this was not an additional team leader position for Laverton. There is an existing team leader position, which can now be based at Laverton due to the provision of housing. This position has now been filled. The two responsible parenting officer positions have not yet been filled, although they have certainly been advertised. (2) The team leader took up the position in Laverton on 15 June 2011. As I said, the department is currently advertising the two responsible parenting officer positions in Laverton.
