I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following response: The Fire and Emergency Service Authority advises - (1) The three by 30-second commercials and the three by 15-second commercials were all produced in-house using volunteers or recipients of emergency services. Other vision was either owned by FESA or donated by Channel Seven or the Golden West Network and a small proportion was shot specifically for the commercials. Invoices paid to date for the production of the six commercials total $4 683. It is anticipated that the total cost will be approximately $9 000. The cost quoted by a professional advertising agency was $65 000 to $70 000. (2) The television advertisement will screen on metropolitan television for six weeks from the week commencing 20 July to the week commencing 24 August. The advertisements will screen on regional television for eight weeks from the week commencing 20 July to the week commencing 7 September. (3) The total television advertisement placement cost was $150 238, and reached a weekly audience of 93 per cent against the target audience of all property owners.
