RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT
— REVIEW
1114. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the minister representing the
Minister for Commerce:
I refer to question without notice
470, asked on 11 August 2021, regarding the review of the Residential Tenancies
Act 1987, which commenced in 2019 and for which the consultation period ended
on 30 June 2020.
Will the minister please
provide an update on the progress of the review, and specifically whether the
outcomes of the review are still expected to be provided to government before
the end of 2021; and, if yes, when will the outcomes be provided; and, if no,
why has this been delayed and when will the review be completed and the
outcomes released?
