SOUTH COAST MARINE PARK — CONSULTATION
1226. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer to the
community engagement process in relation to the proposed South Coast Marine
Park.
(1) Can the
minister please provide the dates on which the tourism sector advisory group,
or TSAG, met?
(2) On how many
occasions did the TSAG provide presentations and submissions to the community
reference committee?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. On behalf of the Minister for Environment, I provide
the following answer.
(1) The tourism sector advisory group was
independently established to provide consolidated advice from the tourism sector to inform community reference committee deliberations. Dates on
which the independent TSAG met are unknown.
(2) A representative from TSAG presented to the CRC at
meetings one, two, five and six. TSAG made a written submission
regarding the proposed marine park boundary, which was provided to the second
meeting of the CRC.
