I refer to the Mining Industry Advisory Committee (MIAC) and to the Commission of Occupational Safety and Health 2011-12 Annual Report, and I ask —
(1) When will the MIAC be reformed?
(2) While MIAC is under review, will any other body fulfil the functions of the MIAC as set out in section 14A of the
Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984
?
(3) If yes to (2), which other body will fulfil these functions?
(4) If no to (2), who will —
(a) advise and make recommendations to the Ministers responsible for occupational safety and health in Western Australia and the Commission for Occupational Safety and Health on occupational safety and health matters concerning the mining industry; and
(b) liaise with the Commission for Occupational Safety and Health to coordinate activities on related functions and to maintain parallel standards?
