(a)-(b) Master planning for the proposed Lakelands High School site and the abutting district open space is progressing with the City of Mandurah. The Department of Education has commenced discussions with the developer, Peet and Co., for the acquisition of a 6.7 ha portion of the school site.
The Department of Education, in association with the Department of Finance - Building Management and Works, is preparing a business case. The timing for the school's construction or opening year is yet to be announced and is subject to the budget process.

(d)
It is proposed to include facilities for students with special needs as part of the proposed Lakelands High School.
