DEPARTMENT OF ABORIGINAL AFFAIRS — CLIFF
WEEKS
158. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the
Leader of the House representing the Premier:
My question was
originally directed to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs but it has been
redirected to the Leader of the House representing the Premier.
(1) Has the
Public Sector Commissioner been investigating the chief executive officer, Mr
Weeks, for the misuse of government resources?
(2) Has the
PSC been investigating the CEO, Mr Weeks, for bullying and intimidating
behaviour towards staff?
(3) Is it
correct that Department of Aboriginal Affairs officers in Geraldton and
Kalgoorlie are or have been investigated for using departmental resources in
pursuit of private ventures outside of their roles as departmental officers?
(4) If yes to
any or all of the above, will the minister, in this case, the Premier, table
the report by the Public Sector Commission on completion?
(5) If no to
(4),why not?

question.
The Public Sector Commissioner advises —

As a matter of principle, it is not appropriate practice to comment on any
investigation or employment matter, whether or not such an investigation was
being undertaken.
