I refer the minister to an article in The West Australian on Saturday, 22 March, which reveals that her expenditure on restaurant meals in 2002 was $6 300, including five bills for meals at the up-market Perugino Restaurant in West Perth. Will the minister assure the House that all her expenditure at restaurants with taxpayers’ money has been associated solely with her ministerial portfolio and not with her responsibilities as President of the Western Australian Labor Party? Mr J.N. Hyde: Who did you take to lunch today, member? The SPEAKER: I call the member for Perth to order for the first time. Mrs M.H. ROBERTS

Yes. Mr C.J. Barnett: So much for accountability. There is no accountability. That is the record of the Minister for Police. Several members interjected. The SPEAKER: Leader of the Opposition and members!
