It is anticipated that more formal options to these individual responses may be developed in negotiation with Australia Post in the future. This will only be necessary if there are sufficient numbers of applicants requiring an alternative process. Currently people are advised through community education material to contact the Screening Unit if they have any difficulty making an application. Australia Post is actively working with the Unit to meet community needs.
