I refer to the proposal for a takeaway alcohol management system in the township of Newman. (1) Has any minister or agency within the state government asked to place the introduction of this proposal on hold? (2) If yes to (1), why? (3) Is the minister aware that this proposal has received overwhelming support from all sections of the local Newman community, particularly the Newman Liquor Accord?
