I refer to the Minister’s statement that “total direct expenditure for all events held in 2005-2006 is not something that can be provided” in question 1558, and I ask -
(1) What was the purpose of the $26,763 Market Equity Pty Ltd event evaluation report?
(2) For the purpose of open and accountable government will the Minister table the Market Equity report in Parliament?
(a) if not, why not?

(1) The event evaluation report undertaken within the $26,763 expenditure referred to by the Member was for the 2005 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships and the Developing an Icon Event for Western Australia. I table copies (see tabled paper no) of the economic outcomes including the Direct Spend and ROI Calculations and the visitor estimates from the 2005 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships and the Executive Summary of the Developing an Icon Event for Western Australia Final Report.
