I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. (1) The question is too general. Costs cannot readily be broken down to lines, or, in the case of Joondalup to Perth, parts of lines. The additional cost of a particular journey would depend on the extent to which costs would have had to be incurred, whether or not that trip was undertaken. (2) Perth to Joondalup is 26.2 kilometres; Perth to Mandurah is 72 kilometres.
